A Flash short film site, complete with a swell PHP/mySQL backend. I couldn't have done half of it without the excellent new actionscript features in Flash mx. And, although that last sentence sounds like the words of some well worn coporate tool, I'm telling you the truth brothers and sisters. A little site I built to announce the birth of my son. The hiccups are real (although somewhat overcompressed during downsampling in Flash) and were recorded during one of his many early attacks.

I was moved onto another project before I could finish this piece. I’d spent too much time on this one to let it just languish on my hard drive, so I spent the few hours it took to get it into a playable form (it’s still not complete).

I built this thing to to hold all of the great stuff that I wanted to show off, and yet make very difficult to access. I’m not exactly sure what I was thinking... But anyway, it marks my first substantive experience with Action Script. I just wish I had something good to put in it. Try entering 38 to see one of my Flash experiments.

The original design isn’t mine, I just updated it for autumn and summer with a new color scheme and a bit of Flash.  I'd ask you to ignore all but the top right 318 by 140 pixels of seasonal flash action.

Depending on the speed of your connection, you might have to wait a bit for the animation to begin.
