abMakeQuickSelectBn 1.3

A super simple script that creates a shelf button which, when pressed, will reselect all of the currently selected transforms.  If any attributes are selected in the channelBox only those selected attributes will be recalled.

Holding the shift or control key when pressing a quick select shelf button will add to or remove from the existing selection.

Note that the script needs to be sourced for the quick select buttons to work.

New with version 1.2 is the ability to use search and replace, prefixing, and postfixing on the objects in saved selections.  This becomes pretty useful when you want to copy animation between two duplicate rigs using copy and paste in the timeline popup menu.

To bring up the UI, type:

abRecallQuickSelectUI

in the command line or script editor and hit enter.

Updates

03.12.07:   Added ability to hold shift or control key on recall to add to or remove from the current selection.

03.30.07:   Added UI (called with abRecallQuickSelectUI) to use search and replace, prefixing, and postfixing to saved selections.

10.25.07:    Shelf buttons now source the script before recall.

go on, say it
