I wonder if you can switch between any tangents once you have the keys already.
Select the keys, and temporarily switch to step, once the timing is right, switch back to spline.
I think there's a script out there that will play back a splined animation as if it was stepped. That might get close to what you're looking for.
why are you crumbly?
The thought behind the name Supercrumbly was that the crumbs are ideas realized in some way. They can come out as illustrations, scripts, flash games, whatever, as long as I make something of them.
It also helped that it was one of the few domain names I'd come up with that was actually available.
