abAutoRig 3.3

A simple to use skeleton builder and autorigger that builds a fast, animator friendly, bipedal rig.

abBatchFile 1.3

A handy little script that allows you to run mel commands on one or many Maya scene files (.ma or .mb). Once the specified script is run on a file, it can be saved (or not saved) in a variety of ways.

abBookmarkCurves 2.0

New with Maya 8 is the ability to bookmark curves in the Graph Editor. This script extends that functionality and packs into a nice little UI while adding, among other things, the ability to filter displayed curves by attribute. As a bonus, it also works with Maya 7 (and maybe Maya 6 as well).

abCleanAnimationCurves 1.0

A script that will quickly delete all excess flat tangents keys on selected animation curves.

abClickDragToggle 1.0

A script that creates a shelf button to easily toggle Click Drag Selection on and off.

abConnectAttToMultObj 1.0

Allows you to quickly connect a single object attribute to an attribute shared by many objects. For example, connecting a control curve attribute to visibility on multiple rigged meshes.

abConnectSlider 1.0

This script makes connecting blendshapes to sliders (or any transform-able object) very quick and efficient. Actually, I came across a script that makes sliders and various face controls really easily, but I didn't like the way they had you connect them to your blendshapes. So I wrote this. And yeah, I know I could have just used expressions, but everybody knows that nodes are cooler.

abCopyPos 1.1

Easily copy translation, rotation, and scale attributes from one object to another. Super useful for mirroring driven keys on large groups of influence objects.

abCopyWeights 1.0

Copies smooth skin weights on overlapping vertices from one bound mesh to another. Useful if you bind, say, a separate arm and torso mesh to selected joints on your skeleton.

abCurveSwitcher 1.0

A simple little script that creates a shelf button to toggle your default curves between step and spline.

abDropSpotCam 1.1

This script will drop a spotlight or camera at your current persp cam location with the click of a button.

abFaceHugger 1.1.3

Ease the drudgery of creating blendshapes for your (nurbs or poly) hair or paint effects support objects. Just snap the verts or cvs of your support object (like an eyebrow, for instance) to one of your target facial blendshapes, click a button, and now you can select other target blendshapes and quickly create correctly deformed duplicates (or deform an existing duplicate).

abKeyWrangler 2.91

Retime, insert, and clean up keyframes, and lots of other useful keyframe stuff.

abLightTweaker 1.5

abLightTweaker is a streamlined light manager that offers a great deal of flexibility and control when setting up lights.

abMakeQuickSelectBn 1.3

A super simple script that creates a shelf button which, when pressed, will reselect all of the currently selected transforms. If any attributes are selected in the channelBox only those selected attributes will be recalled. Holding the shift or control key when pressing a quick select shelf button will add to or remove from the existing selection. Note that the script needs to be sourced for the quick select buttons to work.

abMakeUnlinkedInstance 1.2

Make instance-like copies from any selected mesh (or meshes). The cool thing is that you can modify the resulting meshes without affecting any of the other peer or parent "instances". Also: Yay! My first Python script.

abMetaLayers 1.0

A simple little script that will save your current layer settings to a shelf icon.

abMirrorCntrl 1.0

Often when rigging you end up having to adjust the cvs on rig control curves to fit your geometry. This is a little script to mirror your cv adjustments to the control curve you select.

abMirrorInfs 1.0

Mirror influence objects with a few clicks. At the moment, if an object has multiple driven keys they won't be copied to the new object. Check the script editor after mirroring to see which, if any, objects will need to have their SDKs set manually.

abPosToIcon 3.2

A (not so) tiny script to that will save all visible keyable attributes for the selected object(s) or selection set to a shelf button for quick recall. It will also save extended attributes for lights and cameras.

abReplaceCommandIcons 1.1

Replaces the default melScript shelf button icons with visually simpler versions. Built for Maya 2008, but should work with any (recent) version.

abScriptMenu 1.6

This script allows you to create a menu item in the Maya UI that contains all of your scripts, organized however you want.

abSetMultAttr 1.4

A script to allow you to easily modify and copy attribute values on multiple objects.

abSmoothControl 1.21

A little tool to help with the management of polyFaceSmooth nodes. Smooth multiple meshes at once, easily select smoothed meshes, delete all or selected smooth nodes, and set or toggle division levels on all or selected smooth nodes.

abSymMesh 1.71

A useful little script for building symmetrical and asymmetrical blendshapes. Check for symmetry, mirror and flip polygon geometry, and much more. Ok, not much more, but it is pretty useful.

abToggleUIVis 1.0

Meant to replaces Maya's default ctrl+space behavior, this script will restore your UI setup when you toggle between your default and full screen workspace.

abTwoFace 1.5

Useful for breaking a symmetrical blend target into a smoothly blending left/right, up/down (whatever/whatever) pair.

abWeightLifter 1.8

A tool to copy and mirror skin weights on polygon objects. Any number of influences can be copied/mirrored by establishing connections in the UI. Meshes can be bound to the same or separate rigs; weights can be copied based on vertex location (in world space or object space) or vertex number.

abZoomRange v 2.4

I\'ve been using this for a while, and I find it pretty useful. It\'s a tool to help you zoom quickly in and out of the timeline. I know, it doesn\'t sound that great. But it is. Oh, how it is.

Tangent Marking Menu Mod

A modification of the tangent marking menu (shift+s+MMB in the graph editor) that adds two new options. "Lock Tangents" in the SW corner of the menu will unify selected tangents and lock their weights, and, in the SE corner, "Free Tangents" will break the tangents and free their weights.
